With Comcast's neverending price hikes, data usage caps, and poor customer service, all of which is in line with its "competitors," it would be great to see Goodlettsville follow the lead of towns like Chattanooga and bring a 1Gbps municipally-owned fiber network to Goodlettsville residents. If Goodlettsville isn't feeling that progressive and adventurous, it would still be great to see Google Fiber expansion make its way from Nashville to Goodlettsville.

Clean litter and trash along Dickerson Rd from about 31W liquors north to the intersection of Dickerson Rd and Old Springfield Pike. There is quite a bit of trash/litter on both sides of Dickerson Rd especially around the railroad overpass. Additionally, there is trash in the vacant lot across from the old KOA campground as well as driving down Old Springfield Pike. Although the foliage is now coming out and hiding some of the trash along the side of the road, the trash is still there (beer cans, bottles, fast food sacks, etc., etc., etc.).

Two areas that continue to have litter are E. Cedar Street (basically from Dickerson Rd all the way to Long Hollow Pike - and specifically under the train trestle area). The other is Dickerson Rd north of Brick Church Pike and especially around the trailer park areas. With Public Works located right off of E. Cedar St., surely this is seen every day by the Public Works leadership.? There should be a frequent and continual effort to clean these areas up.

Our historical downtown is looking a little drabby and could use a facelift. I'd rather see it look like downtown Franklyn than lower Dickerson Road. Paint, consistency, clean-up can go a long way.
