Heritage Day is a much loved annual event and is being offered 3 dates in 2023. April 4, April 14, April 28.
Guests have the opportunity to experience life on the frontier and witness skilled demonstrators and artists. Guests will have a chance to SEE, FEEL and TOUCH different historical trade skills such as blacksmithing, leatherworking, woodworking, working with fibers and cooking.
Guests experience the frontier at their own pace between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. April is a great time to be outdoors and enjoy the park, so feel free to bring blankets and picnic on the lawn of the Bowen House or anywhere throughout Moss-Wright Park.
Heritage Day is open to the public as well as school or tour groups. For any group with 5 or more total guests, reservations are required in advance. For groups smaller than 5, reservations are encouraged. To request a reservation for your group on Heritage Days, complete the online form at the link provided.
