Driving Schools

Options

For Traffic Court sentencing options, the City of Goodlettsville conducts two different driving schools, which the judge may assign violators to attend instead of being ordered to pay a fine. The only way to receive Traffic School is to either set up a virtual hearing before your assigned court date or if notified by the court that you are eligible for the class to send the required email indicating your plea of guilt prior to your assigned court date. The judge decides before your court date on a case-by-case basis whether you prequalify for the traffic school.

When you are assigned to a Driving School you do not pay the fine on the ticket, instead you only pay the fee to attend the Driving School.

IMPORTANT: THE CITY OF GOODLETTSVILLE HAS MOVED TO AN ONLINE DRIVING COURSE ONLY. ONCE YOUR PLEA OF GUILTY IS RECEIVED YOU WILL BE FORWARDED INFORMATION REGARDING THE TRAFFIC SCHOOL. PLEASE EMAIL COURTCLERK@GOODLETTSVILLE.GOV WITH QUESTIONS
