  1. Candy Cane Village

    This year the Goodlettsville Tourism Department and the Parks and Rec Department have created a family-friendly event called Candy Cane Village as an initiative of Hometwn Holidays. Sponsors are painting pre-constructed houses measuring approximately 4' x 4' x 7' that will be displayed on the grounds of Goodlettsville City Hall in well-lite areas for the months of December. The opening of the Candy Cane Village will occur at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 6, 2019 and will be displayed thru the end of December. We hope you will enjoy exploring the village! Reservations are not necessary and parking is at or around City Hall. Feel free to visit as many times as you choose throughout the month.

  2. Story Time with Mrs. Claus

    December 12, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Goodlettsville Visitor's Center

    Join Mrs. Claus at this free event for children as she reads two Christmas stories that will keep alive the wonderful thoughts of the holiday season. Mrs. Claus will also sing Christmas carols with the children and all will enjoy a Christmas treat. Advance reservations are not required.

  3. Holiday Wreath Making

    December 12, 2019, 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM @ Jubilee Hills Senior Living

    Design and create a decorative wreath for the Holiday season with Goodlettsville Parks & Recreation and Jubilee Hills Senior Living! With assistance from knowledgeable staff and volunteers you will learn how to craft your own Christmas wreath made from a variety of decorations and bows. Each wreath is unique and both men and women enjoy this program. There is a $20 participation fee for this program. Clippings and items to decorate your wreath are provided, along with a delicious meal and a tour of Jubilee Hills Senior Living. Pre-registration is required as each session is limited to 20 participants. Sessions will be held at Jubilee Hill Senior Living in Goodlettsville, 322 North Creek Blvd. Please note: These sessions are geared towards adults and are not suitable for young children.

  4. Cookies, Cocoa, & Craft

    Ho Ho Ho! It is almost time for Christmas. Join us at the fort at Historic Mansker's Station and enjoy a cup of warm cocoa and a cookie while making a Christmas ornament by candlelight. This class is designed for children 8 years old and above.

  5. Family Bingo Night

    December 12, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Delmas Long Community Center

    Join us for a FREE fun filled night of Bingo with the family at Delmas Long Community Center. Play not only for fun, but also for the chance to win prizes. Upon arrival each participant will receive one bingo card to use for the night. We will be serving light refreshments as families filter in. Starting at 6:15 pm we will begin the first round. The event will be held in the gymnasium. Santa will be calling Bingo during this holiday themed event, so come prepared to meet Santa and win some of his special Christmas prizes!
